Rating songs and other items

You can assign a rating to a song, video, podcast, or other item to indicate how much you like it. You can use ratings to help you automatically create playlists or to sort and browse your library.

To assign a rating:

Select a playlist or an item in your library.
Choose View > View Options.
Select My Rating and click OK.
Select the item you want to rate, and then click the My Rating column to add from 1 to 5 stars.

You can also add ratings by pressing the Control key while you click an item, and then choosing an option in the My Rating submenu.
